Guiding customers through the process of buying a pre-owned vehicle, helping them find the right car for their needs and budget, and facilitating the purchase by explaining features, arranging test drives, and processing financing options. This role requires strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills, combined with product knowledge and a persistent, results-driven work ethic.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement:Greet customers, build rapport, and determine their vehicle needs through active listening and questioning.Vehicle Expertise:Provide detailed information about available used cars, including features, technical aspects, and financial options.Sales Process:Offer test drives, present vehicles persuasively, and guide customers through the purchase to a successful sale.Financing & Closing:Assist customers with sorting out financing options and ensure a smooth transition to the accounting department.Follow-Up:Maintain contact with existing customers after the sale to confirm satisfaction and generate future leads.Dealership Operations:Maintain the cleanliness and good order of vehicles on the lot.Required SkillsCommunication & Interpersonal:.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively persuade and connect with customers.Sales & Negotiation:.Ability to persuade customers to make a purchase, handle objections, and secure a good deal.Product Knowledge:.In-depth understanding of different makes and models, especially pre-owned vehicles.Customer Service:.Focus on providing the best car-buying experience, making customers feel heard and valued.Persistence & Organization:.A strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a goal-oriented mindset.Asbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
