Assist with regular inventories in the parts department and facilitate part selection for returns. • Initiate all necessary documentation related to damages, shortages, and vendor returns. • Participate in perpetual inventory counts. • Maintain the security of the department. • Oversee all shipping processes, including returning warranty parts to the factory. • Manage the inventory of shipping supplies and inform the Parts Manager of required items. • Maintain a dedicated area for warranty storage, organized in sequence according to the Repair Order (RO). • Alert management to any irregularities regarding parts available for return to the factory. • Ensure the proper disposal of parts in compliance with factory, company, and environmental guidelines. • Coordinate activities with contract delivery drivers. • Assist in scheduling deliveries, including routing and special requests. • Demonstrate initiative in completing tasks through innovative solutions. • Promptly communicate with sales personnel or management regarding client issues, returns, or concerns related to drivers and deliveries, as necessary. • Successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests. • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds for intermittent durations, not exceeding three hours per day.**Requirements** • Candidates must be at least 18 years old • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening and drug testINDPARTSAsbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
