Based on our efforts, we have been recognized as one of the best places to work by both Newsweek and US News & World report.**DEALERSHIP AND/OR APPLICATIONS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**The IT Applications Manager is responsible for support and management of Asbury’s Dealer Management System (DMS), integrations, and other associated applications used to operate dealerships. This position is also highly engaged in data quality, data extracts, and reporting that are used to manage the business by the operations team.This role is remote, with travel required up to 50% within first year.Duties/Responsibilities • Reviews application release notes to decide on impacts of code releases. • Coordinates testing within IT, Dealership Shared Services, and the operations teams. • Communicates security concerns regarding the releases to the IT Security Team. • Identifies and improves data quality issues with systems. • Communicates to impacted parties and stakeholders any changes to the application suites. • Sets up, maintains, and trains on the DMS and other related application suites. • Develops user procedures, training materials, and documentation. • Manages and supports the DMS applications and related product suites by working with vendors to understand the upgrades and coordinating among various teams for testing, support and implementation. • Assists with application conversions, performing setups and confirming configurations. • Assists with cleanup and maintenance of the DMS (i.e. purging of files like purchase orders, obsolete reports, data integrity). • Assists with QA verification for projects that involve the DMS and related application suites. • Manages projects, process improvement, and change management to facilitate production changes. • Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organizationEducation & Experience • College degree or related experience • PPM Certification or equivalent Project Management experience • 5-10 years of experience working with DMS application support and implementation projects • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience using Microsoft Office, Report Generator and Automotive application file structure • CDK or Tekion DMS experience a mustPay and Recognition: • Weekly pay • Paid holidays & paid time off • Deferred Holiday Pay Match • Paid training • Stock Awards (select management and front-line team member’s eligible)Insurance / Retirement: • Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans • Up to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave) • Paid Parental Leave • Health savings • Flex spending accounts (tax free) • Short-term and Long-term disability plans • Life Insurance (Whole Life and Term) • 401k with company matchLearning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development: • Digital career path tool to assist with career development • Continuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management SystemProfessional growth and development opportunities Additional advantages: • Student loan relief resources • Employee assistance program • Employee discounts on parts and service repairs • Scholarship awards • Opportunities to join our community service initiatives, which includes paid volunteer hours • Aggressive Employee referral program with bonus opportunitiesINDMANAGERAsbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
