Based on our efforts, we have been recognized as one of the best places to work by both Newsweek and US News & World report.The Cash Application II Specialist supports the dealerships through the reconciling and primary posting of accounts receivable ACH payments, reporting of exceptions, management of suspense accounts. Cash App II also assists with banking, AR support desk and various other AR projects.ResponsibilitiesReconciliation of checks, ACH and credit card payments received • Verify each invoice paid on remittance advice comparative to account status in CDK/Tekion • Contact customers that do not include remittance to determine what payment is for • Pull daily ACH information for processing timelyPayment Posting/ Process ACH Batches • Accurately post each deposit for the correct platform and GL. • Identify and correct any out of balance situations within a depositReporting • Maintain logs of incoming payments, reconcile to daily deposits.Administrative • Cross train on all desks within AR office • Process Journal Entries for Bank Recon, Intercompany, & customer accounts • Monitor and resolve assigned support incidents • Assist collections with retrieving and sending copies of invoices and statementsAs needed • Other projects, daily work for coverage of other desks as requiredRequirements / Education / Experience • Able to work in a team setting • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel • Able to communicate effectively with customers & quickly accommodate requests • High school diploma required • Some college work preferred but not required • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel (VLOOKUP’s & Pivot Tables) and Outlook • 2 – 3 years experience in cash receipts/posting of payments/reporting of open items • Previous experience with research/issue resolution • Dealership experience preferred but not requiredPay and Recognition: • Weekly pay • Paid holidays & paid time off • Deferred Holiday Pay Match • Paid training • Stock Awards(select management and front-line team member’s eligibleInsurance / Retirement: • Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans • Up to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave) • Paid Parental Leave • Health savings • Flex spending accounts (tax free) • Short-term and Long-term disability plans • Life Insurance (Whole Life and Term) • 401k with company matchLearning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development: • Digital career path tool to assist with career development • Continuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management SystemProfessional growth and development opportunities Additional advantages: • Student loan relief resources • Employee assistance program • Employee discounts on parts and service repairs • Scholarship awards • Opportunities to join our community service initiatives, which includes paid volunteer hours • Aggressive Employee referral program with bonus opportunitiesINDOTHERAsbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
